DESCRIPTION
The Cocteau side table is a truly one of a kind piece. The sculptural and ethereal piece has abstract forms, shapes and figures within it that one could interpret in different ways. The bronze-patina brass inserts in the cream shagreen inlaid surface "melt" organically into the floating frame and base to create this overall beautiful amorphous shape. The shagreen is hand-dyed by artisans and the designer calls this finish 'antique natural' shagreen.
