Stunning light in the showroom

Winter Edit 2019 provided a dramatic start to the season.  Bright scarlet, dark crimson, dusty persimmon; red in all its glorious shades set the exciting tone as editeur presented another stunning and eclectic collection of extraordinary vintage and contemporary pieces.

Highlights included striking examples of vintage furniture in stone, metal and wood by such designers as Willy Rizzo, Alfredo Freda, and the Thévenins, fine French tapestries (including one after a cartoon by Alexander Calder), characterful mid XXth century ceramic lamps and vessels by Pelletier and Accolay,  decorative and functional pieces by the Haas Brothers (for l’Objet) with their Mojave-inspired whimsy and “otherworldly-ness”, and  the exquisitely understated and elegant oOumm candle-holders, with their heavenly scents.
