PAUL O'CONNOR

A 1988 Visual Arts graduate from Curtin University, Paul’s career has taken many creative paths; artist, lecturer, creative director, brand manager, editor, visual merchandiser, and fashion stylist.

After a 20-year hiatus, Paul returned to the arts and discovered ceramics, representing a new medium through which to express his creativity and thoughts on popular culture.

Paul wants these times to be remembered as “when we reconnected with the earth, away from our screens and the digital world, and rediscovered memories, talents, interests… and loves we had forgotten, misplaced, or lost.”

Paul’s work has been shown internationally and is held by the Art Gallery of WA and Curtin University. It can also be seen in local public art projects.
