Designer Christian Lyon has merged art and design in his new store, editeur.

It was time for Christian to make his long-held dream come true and share the things he loved. Editeur is a treasure trove of beautiful collectibles, antiques and new contemporary artisan pieces and furniture drawn from decades of designing and collaborationing internationally. “Perth has a lot of savvy people and an enormous amount of creativity. Editeur provides a platform for amazing designs that people may not have seen before.” Each personally selected piece showcases the passion Christian has for design. “I want people to look at an object and see the mark of the hand of the craftsman.”

The store is located within a prominent Art Deco building in the Shire of Peppermint Grove. The store will present a selection of beautiful and desirable objects, including vintage pieces from across the world. The ever-changing collection will keep the store fresh and relevant. “Creating a space where everyone is welcome to come and admire great design is what I’m hoping to achieve,. Plus I want people to be able to take away something beautiful!” he said.
