REMIGIJUS KRIUKAS
MADE IN LITHUANIA
Remigijus Kriukas, born in 1961 in Panevezys, Lithuania, is a renowned glass artist and a member of the Lithuanian Union of Artists since 1992. He graduated from the Lithuanian State Institute of Fine Arts in 1985 with a specialisation in glass art and began his career at JSC “Panevėžio stiklas”. From 1993 to 2000, he worked as a designer in their glass design workshop.
In 2000, Kriukas founded his own glass design studio in Panevezys, producing a range of creations including paperweights, decorative glass shapes, interior and exterior elements, glass sculptures, and bespoke business presents. He has worked in Denmark with glass masters Charlie Maeker and Pete Hunner, and is familiar with Latvian, Byelorussian, and Ukrainian glass design schools.
Since 1985, Kriukas has actively participated in exhibitions and creative symposia across Europe, the USA, and other countries, showcasing his work and contributing to the international glass art community.
